Memorial Day Weekend

Missy and Trav were nice enough to let us stay with them over Memorial day weekend. We had a great time and the boys had a blast. Cole loves to play with Sam, I hope he enjoys playing with his own brother that much someday. The boys had their first experience at The Bareboot bar. Will didn't care too much, he mostly hung out in his stroller and we kept giving him food to keep him happy. Cole loved it. They had a huge swingset he played on the entire time we were there. When we were driving back to VG's he asked who's party it was that we went to. He could not get his brain wrapped around that there is a place where there are tons of kids, live music and such a neat play area. Just think how much he will like it when he is older and can have some adult beverages! Sunday we went to Arnold's Park for the wing ding and then into the park so the big boys (Trav and Matt) could ride the roller coaster. The little guys enjoyed the train. Cole went on some other rides and was even going to be brave enough to ride the kiddie roller coaster but it was not working that day. I was anxious to see if he would actually go through with it. He has a lot of my blood in him in that he is what some would call a chicken! Cole also loved going in the tipsy house with grandpa. Each time he would come out of it he would joke with Matt that he built it. Monday Grandpa and Carol were nice enough to take us out on the boat. It was the first time they had put the boat in the water this season so just our luck it was not going to start right away. I think the 3rd time of putting it in the water after charging the battery was finally what got it running. It was Will's first boat ride and he was sound asleep within 15 minutes. The boat use to have the same effect on Cole. A boat ride meant naptime. It was a great weekend and we hope to make it back up this summer. Sam and Will patiently eating some snacks while we are trying to get the boat running.
