Cole took beginner swim lessons in Dallas Center this summer. It was quite the ordeal for him. The first night he did great and from then on it was tears most every other night. The last night of lessons he did great, probably because he knew he was going to be done.
This is what he would look like hanging onto the side of the pool and asking me if he could get out. I had to carry him back into the water a few times. He did better on the nights Matt took him. I think he is a little more scared of Matt.
This is Cole doing the dreaded back float. He hated it! Everytime they said they were going to do the back float his eyes would well up with tears. What a great lifeguard we had who kept on him and worked so hard with him. Not sure what we are going to do about lessons for next summer.
